EOFY Tax Appeal for Medical Student Scholarships
Success! Your request has been sent and a representative will be in contact soon.
We're asking for your help for Queensland medical students experiencing financial hardship
Studying medicine can be tough, but for some students, surviving financially is the hardest part. The degree can be intensive, and not all future doctors have the financial support they need to keep going.
With your help this financial year, AMA Queensland Foundation can continue our legacy of giving a helping hand to students in financial hardship, through our Medical Student Scholarships Program.
Every student who finishes their medical degree is a future doctor caring for the health of Queenslanders.
2026 EOFY Appeal target is $30,000
This tax time, let’s come together to give three more medical students experiencing financial hardship a secure future. Every dollar donated during this 2026 EOFY Tax Appeal will be exclusively directed to the AMA Queensland Foundation Medical Student Scholarship program.
Our target is $30,000, and your generosity will see us support three more students with medical student scholarships in 2027.
Small contributions from all our supporters can quickly add up to a year’s worth of stress-free study for three students facing financial hardship.
Medical scholarships have made a big impact

Can you be a part of giving a Queensland medical student the gift of education, and the Queensland community the gift of brillliant future doctors?
Meet the newly awarded 2026 recipients, supported thanks to the generosity of our donors.
The Foundation scholarship can make a huge difference in the life of a financially disadvantaged medical student. Not only in knowing that bills are getting paid while they give their all to their studies, but in knowing that they have the support of the wider community, to keep striving under difficult circumstances. Meet the students who will be supported in 2026, thanks to your donations in 2025.
