Duke Trust makes wishes come true

Success! Your request has been sent and a representative will be in contact soon.

Chrismas came early at Royal Children's Hospital when AMA Queensland Foundation, in partnership with the Stan and Maureen Duke Trust, presented much-needed equipment to its rehabilitation unit.

Dr Susan King, a daughter of the Trust's founders, was on hand to present a cheque for $27,792.50 which provided the rehab unit with state-of-the-art bathing equipment, two multi-age wheelchairs and surface electromyography (EMG) with biofeedback, helping children with brain injuries improve their swallowing.

Dr King says she's delighted to see the donation being used in such a practical way, benefitting many children and carers.
